Code of Conduct

North America–Africa Football Supporters Alliance (NAAFSA)

1. Purpose

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behavior expected from all members, partners, delegates, volunteers, and representatives of the North America–Africa Football Supporters Alliance (NAAFSA).

It exists to promote respect, integrity, inclusion, and accountability across all NAAFSA activities, both online and offline.

By engaging with NAAFSA, you agree to uphold these principles.

2. Core Values

All participants are expected to act in accordance with NAAFSA’s core values:

  • Respect for all individuals and cultures

  • Fairness, honesty, and transparency

  • Unity through football

  • Inclusivity and non-discrimination

  • Responsible representation of supporter communities

3. Expected Standards of Behaviour

Members and representatives must:

  • Treat others with dignity, courtesy, and respect

  • Promote positive supporter culture and peaceful engagement

  • Communicate professionally in meetings, events, and online platforms

  • Act in the best interests of NAAFSA and its mission

  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and organisational policies

  • Protect confidential information and personal data

  • Declare any conflicts of interest where relevant

4. Zero Tolerance Policy

NAAFSA does not tolerate:

  • Discrimination based on race, nationality, gender, religion, disability, age, or sexual orientation

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or abuse

  • Hate speech or offensive conduct

  • Violence or threats of violence

  • Fraud, corruption, or misuse of NAAFSA resources

  • Conduct that damages the reputation of NAAFSA

Any such behavior may result in disciplinary action.

5. Representation and Public Conduct

When representing NAAFSA, members must:

  • Act responsibly and professionally

  • Avoid making unauthorized public statements on behalf of NAAFSA

  • Use NAAFSA branding and platforms appropriately

  • Ensure communications reflect the organisation’s values

6. Reporting Concerns

Any breaches of this Code of Conduct should be reported confidentially to:

Reports will be reviewed fairly and discreetly. Retaliation against anyone raising concerns in good faith is strictly prohibited.

7. Disciplinary Measures

NAAFSA reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations, including:

  • Warnings

  • Suspension of membership or participation rights

  • Removal from roles or committees

  • Termination of membership

  • Referral to relevant authorities where necessary

8. Acceptance of This Code

All members, partners, and representatives are expected to acknowledge and comply with this Code of Conduct as a condition of involvement with NAAFSA.
